She fills her spare time with social events and gains design inspiration from her worldly travels. In her time away from the studio, Rhonda is the proud mother of son Phillip and enjoys time with her elderly mother Helen and young granddaughters Layla and Lillianna. She has over 27 years of Law Enforcement experience but has always remained involved in arts, crafts & design throughout the years. After returning home, Rhonda attended The University of Houston – Clear Lake and obtained her Master’s Degree. She briefly left only to obtain her BA Degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Rhonda has her roots deeply embedded in the Houston area where she attended local schools. The Rustic Brush – Memorial is a DIY Studio locally owned by Rhonda since July 2022.
